Free parking in Dubai, Abu Dhabi during Eid holidays

Parking tariffs across Dubai and Abu Dhabi will resume on Shawwal 4

All paid parking zones in Dubai will be free to use from Tuesday, 29th Ramadan (May 11, 2021), until Shawwal 3, to mark Eid Al Fitr, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed.

They will resume charging fees from Shawwal 4.

However, multi-level parking terminals will continue to charge fees during the Eid period, the RTA clarified.

The RTA’s customers’ happiness centres will also be closed from Tuesday, Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3. The smart customers happiness centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha and the RTA head office will be operating as usual 24/7.

The authority also confirmed that all the service provider centres (vehicle testing) will be closed during Eid Al Fitr holidays.

In a similar move, Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) also confirmed that the Darb toll gate system will be free of charge to mark Eid Al Fitr, starting from Tuesday, May 11 until the end of the holidays (Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3).

Private and public sector employees across the UAE have been given a holiday break from Tuesday, Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3.
