Home UAE Dubai Flydubai begins direct service to Namangan Namangan becomes the carrier’s third point in Uzbekistan in addition to Samarkand and Tashkent by Zainab Mansoor September 27, 2022 Dubai-based carrier flydubai has launched its twice-weekly service to Namangan in Uzbekistan. Flydubai’s inaugural flight touched down at Namangan International Airport (NMA) to a traditional water cannon salute. It makes the airline the first UAE carrier to offer direct flights between Dubai and Namangan. Read: Budget carrier flydubai launches service to Samarkand Flights will operate from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB) to Namangan International Airport (NMA) twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Emirates will codeshare on this route, providing passengers with more options for connections through Dubai. Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer at flydubai, said: “We are committed to growing links with Uzbekistan and we are confident that these new direct air links will further stimulate travel and trade opportunities between our two countries.
