Wizz Air has scrapped its planned winter return to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, marking another setback for the airline just over a year after closing its UAE subsidiary

Major UAE carriers, including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai and Air Arabia, continue to operate the majority of their networks but have implemented selective cancellations, route adjustments and operational changes in response to the evolving security situation

Passengers scheduled to travel to or from Abha have been advised to check their flight status directly with their airline

The airline confirmed the development in an official newsroom report, describing the move as part of a phased restoration of its global network
