Palazzo Hospitality is entering a new phase of growth, using commercial innovation, technology and international expansion to build a hospitality business that extends beyond the traditional hotel model.
At the centre of the UAE-based group is Palazzo Versace Dubai, its flagship luxury property. But rather than relying primarily on room revenue, Palazzo Hospitality is increasingly treating the hotel as an ecosystem spanning dining, wellness, events, celebrations, gifting and lifestyle experiences, creating multiple opportunities to attract guests and generate revenue.
That strategy has already produced measurable results. A summer campaign at Palazzo Versace Dubai generated approximately Dhs1.35m in revenue from more than 5,000 vouchers, while its e-gifting platform sold more than 8,900 vouchers and generated approximately Dhs2.4m over the summer. Digital performance has also strengthened, with bookings rising approximately 70 per cent year-on-year during the period, alongside a 55 per cent increase in room nights and 65 per cent growth in attributed revenue.
Technology is becoming another pillar of the group’s strategy. Palazzo Versace Dubai introduced Laura, an artificial intelligence-powered digital human assistant designed to support guest enquiries and commercial interactions. During its first 10 weeks, Laura handled 5,005 conversations, resolving 87.2 per cent without escalation, while interactions contributed to an identified pipeline valued at $3.27m.
Alongside strengthening its Dubai flagship, Palazzo Hospitality is taking its expertise overseas. Ezulwini Palazzo in the Kingdom of Eswatini represents an important step in that expansion, demonstrating the group’s strategy of combining UAE-developed hospitality expertise with the culture and requirements of individual destinations.
The next phase is set to accelerate that international push. With more than 10 projects currently in the pipeline, Palazzo Hospitality is targeting expansion across the Middle East, Africa and selected international markets.
For the group, growth is increasingly about more than adding properties. Its strategy centres on creating new revenue streams, deploying technology where it delivers measurable value and taking a UAE-born hospitality platform into new markets.
