Jameel chairs the 80-year-old network of internationally diversified businesses active in sectors such as mobility, energy and water, financial services, investments and health. It is present in 30 markets across six continents, employing over 11,000 people from over 80 nationalities.

In December 2024 and January, Jameel Motors signed distribution agreements with China’s Farizon Auto to distribute new energy commercial vehicles in multiple countries, including the UK and Australia. In March and April, it signed distribution agreements to enter the South African and Polish markets, with plans to distribute Changan Automobile vehicles in the former and GAC vehicles in the latter.

In January 2024, Jameel Health acquired a majority stake in Genpharm. Since acquiring Spanish renewables firm FRV in 2015, Jameel Energy has broadened its clean energy footprint across Europe.
