Abu Dhabi has updated its green list of countries for inbound travel to the emirate from where passengers can travel directly to the emirate without having to quarantine on arrival.
Effective 12.01am on Monday, January 3, that list now includes 71 countries, down from 73 countries.
The UK, Turkey, Jordan, Qatar, Russia and Lebanon are among the countries which have been removed from the green list published by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).
Meanwhile, countries including Algeria, Morocco, Seychelles and Tunisia have been added to it.
All travellers arriving from the green list destinations are exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi.
Travellers will be required to present a negative PCR Covid-19 test result valid for a maximum of 48 hours before departure, and undergo an additional PCR test upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Vaccinated passengers from green list countries will take another PCR test on day 6 (the day of arrival into Abu Dhabi counts as day 1).
Unvaccinated travellers arriving from green list countries must take PCR tests on days 6 and 9.
