Dubai-based carrier Emirates has said that it will resume four-weekly services to the American city of Orlando in Florida from June 2, 2021.

Emirates will deploy its two-class Boeing 777-200LR, offering 38 lie-flat seats in Business and 264 ergonomically designed seats in Economy class on this sector.

Emirates flight EK219 will depart Dubai at 08.55am, arriving in Orlando at 4.30pm. The return flight EK220 will depart Orlando at 9pm, and will arrive in in Dubai at 7.10pm the next day.

With the addition of Orlando, the airline will be conducting over 60 weekly services to and from 11 US destinations including Boston, New York (JFK), Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco and Newark (also in June).

Apart from these cities which are connected using Emirates’ aircraft, its customers also have seamless access to other US cities via its codeshare agreements with Jetblue and Alaskan Airlines.

The airline said that it is offering a flexible ticket booking policy. Customers who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before September 30, 2021, can avail of “generous rebooking terms and options, if they have to change their travel plans” said the airline. They have the option to change their travel dates or extend their ticket validity for up to two years.

Also, all Emirates customers are eligible for multi-risk travel insurance and Covid-19 cover. It is offered by Emirates on all tickets purchased on or from December 1, 2020, at no added cost to the customers.
