Dubai’s RTA announces Eid Al Adha bus, metro, free parking timings

Most RTA services will operate under different hours during the Eid holiday, with free parking in some areas

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced bus, metro, water taxi and service timings for the coming Eid Al Adha holiday.

Irregular hours will be in force for different services from as early as Saturday, August 18.

Bus times

At the Gold Souq main station services will run from 4:25am to 12:29am the next day. At Ghubaibah services will run from 4:14am to 12:33am.

The Al Satwa sub station will see services run from 5:00am to 11:00pm, line CO1 from Al Satwa will operate 24 hours, Al Qusais sub station will operate from 5:00am to 11:35pm, Al Quoz Industrial sub station will operate from 5:00am to 11:15pm and Jebel Ali sub station will operate from 5:00am to 11:30pm.

Metro link bus stations like Al Rashidiya and Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa will run from 5:00am to 2:10am the next day in line with metro services.

Commercial and intercity buses at main stations like Al Ghubaibah will run 24 hours to Al Sharjah and from 4:40am to 12:01am the next day to Abu Dhabi.

The Union Square sub station will operate from 4:30am to 1:25am the next day, Al Sabkha from 6:15am to 1:30am, Deira City Centre from 5:35am to 11:30pm, Al Karama from 6:10am to 10:10pm and Al Ahli Club from 5:55am to 10:15pm.

The external station service for Sharjah will run from 5:30am to 10:00pm, Fujairah 5:30am to 9:30pm, Hatta 6:30am to 10:30pm and Ajman 5:00am to 11:30pm.

Dubai Metro and Tram

The metro’s Red Line will run from from 5:00am to 2:00am the next day during the Monday, August 20 to Thursday, August 23 period.

On Friday, August 24 the Red Line will run from 10:00am to 2:00am the next day and on Saturday, August 25 it will run from 5:00am to 2:00am the next day.

The Green Line will run from 5:30am to 2:00am from Monday to Thursday, 10:00am to 2:00am on Friday and 5:30am to 2:00am on Saturday.

The Dubai Tram will run from 6:00am to 1:00am the next day Saturday to Thursday and 9:00am to 1:00am on Friday.

Parking

All public parking will be free, except multi-storey parking, from Sunday, August 19 until Friday, August 24. Tariffs will resume on Saturday, August 25.

Water bus and taxi

Water bus stations at Dubai Marina will run from 12:00pm to 12:00am from Sunday, August 19 to Friday, August 24.

Water taxis will operate from 9:00am to 10:00pm during the same period.

Service provider centres and customer happiness centres

Tasjeel, ENOC and Emirates Shamil centres will be closed from Monday, August 20 to Thursday, August 23. They will resume work on Friday, August 24, while other centres that work on Saturdays will resume on Saturday, August 25.

Tamam Al Ghandi, Wasel, Mumayyaz, Quick, Cars, Speed Fit, Al Sherawi, Autopal and motorcar agencies will be closed from Monday, August 20 to Wednesday, August 22. They will resume services on Thursday, August 23.

All customer happiness centres will close from Sunday, August 19 to Thursday, August 23 before resuming work on Sunday, August 26.
