Hospitality group Cheval Collection opened its Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai property earlier this month.

The 131-apartment property is the first Cheval Maison outside of the UK.

It features 100 one-bedroom apartments, 20 two-bedroom and 10 three-bedroom options, as well as a three-bedroom penthouse.

Internet rates for a one-night stay in a one-bedroom apartment start from approximately Dhs450.

Cheval said that the serviced apartments are fully equipped for variable lengths of stay.

The property, located on Golden Mile 3, also includes a range of facilities including a rooftop pool and terrace, a fitness centre and private parking.

Additionally, Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai has an on-site restaurant for which it has partnered with Dubai homegrown concept, The Lighthouse.

The Cheval Maison property in Dubai is owned by Nakheel, which also operates the adjacent Nakheel Mall, which features over 140 shops and 30 dining outlets, as well as a cinema and family entertainment zone.

Mohammed S Alawadhi, managing director for Cheval Collection, said: “We are delighted to be opening our first property outside the UK on the Palm Jumeirah. This is an important step in Cheval becoming a global leader in the short- and long-stay apartment industry, putting into practice our 40 years of experience in luxury hospitality in the UK.

“Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai is unique in that it offers the extra space guests deserve along with all the services they would expect at home, as well as providing the ideal base to explore all that Dubai has to offer.”

Apart from Cheval Maison, the other brands in the Cheval Collection portfolio include Cheval Residences and MY Locanda.

Cheval Collection currently operates around a dozen properties in Edinburgh and London, with a Cheval Maison due to open in Glasgow in 2024.
