The first outlet opened recently in Waitrose Khalifa City Community Centre, Abu Dhabi, with the first Dubai outlet to launch this summer in DIFC’s Index Tower. The new concept is backed by a rapid expansion plan in the region and internationally, across malls, commercial centres, airports and standalone street locations. Bateel Bakery, featuring compact, convenient and quick-service format, is the latest addition to Bateel’s global portfolio of retail boutiques and Café Bateel outlets. The menu – including single-origin coffees, organic breads, delicate pastries, healthy salads and satisfying sandwiches – is freshly prepared each day by the in-house team of artisan bakers, chefs and baristas. Customers have the option to dine in the comfortable surroundings of Bateel Bakery’s casual, contemporary and elegantly designed interiors, or order and takeaway directly from the counter. Bateel Bakery offerings Items are pre-packed and breakfasts, salads and sandwiches are made to order. Freshly-baked savoury and sweet pastries, croissants, desserts and whole loaves are also ready to grab and go. Bateel Bakery’s coffee selection has been sourced from around the world, with house blend and single-origin varieties prepared in Bateel’s signature styles and new craft brewing methods such as V60. Caffeine-free options include date seed coffee, made with the roasted seeds of organic dates from Bateel’s own farms in Saudi Arabia.
