Home UAE Dubai Air Seychelles to begin weekly direct flights to Dubai this month Travellers will not be required to quarantine upon arrival in Seychelles by Varun Godinho March 9, 2021 Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, will begin weekly direct flights to and from Dubai starting March 27 until May 29, 2021. The flights will depart from the Jetex Private Terminal at Dubai World Central Airport (DWC) every Saturday at 8am and arrive in Seychelles at 12.30pm. Travellers will not be required to quarantine upon arrival in Seychelles, but must wear face masks in public and abide by social distancing protocols as per the local Covid-19 regulations. Air Seychelles will operate a flight from Seychelles to DWC every Friday that will depart at 2.45pm and arrive in Dubai at 7.15pm. Bookings have opened for the flights with Economy Class return fares ex-Dubai starting at $343 and Business Class fares from Dhs3,800. Seychelles will reopen to all international tourists from March 25, which is by when 70 per cent of its population will have been vaccinated. All travelers, regardless of their vaccination status, must present a negative PCR test upon arrival in Seychelles taken a maximum of 72 hours prior, as well as complete a mandatory Health Travel Authorization at seychelles.govtas.com prior to departure from Dubai. The flights will be operated by the airlines’ Airbus A320neo aircraft which will offer 12 Business Class and 156 Economy Class seats.
