UAE weather update: Humid, overcast conditions to continue for rest of the week

Overcast conditions are to persist across select parts of the country, while humidity with potential fog and mist formations are also expected, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds leading to a potential dust storm are also anticipated.

“Fair to partly cloudy and dusty at times over some areas with the probability of convective clouds formation eastward by the afternoon. Humid during night and Monday morning with the chance of fog and mist formation over some coastal and internal areas especially Northwards. The wind will be light to moderate Northward and moderate to fresh westward, causing blowing dust and sand especially westward. The sea will be moderate in general and rough westward in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea,” National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said in a statement.

The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 22.9°C in Raknah at 5am today.

Temperatures will vary between 28-43°C in the coastal areas, between 29-49°C in the internal areas and 25-39°C in the mountains.

Similar cloud cover with humid conditions and potential dust storms are expected to continue for the rest of the week, NCM added.
