UAE retailer Majid Al Futtaim launches new loyalty programme

Existing Majid Al Futtaim loyalty programmes will be replaced by Share

UAE-based retail operator Majid Al Futtaim has launched a new app-based rewards programme.

Known as Share, the programme allows people to earn and spend points at 2,300 outlets in 16 shopping malls and 11 hotels in the UAE.

The rewards programme is designed to encourage people to share experiences with others. To that end, points can be “pooled” among groups of people.

Existing Majid Al Futtaim loyalty programmes will be replaced by Share, with points from those programmes carried over.

A song has even been created to celebrate the launch of Share, and will be unveiled at live concerts at the Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif on September 20.

The anthem will be performed by regional music stars, Alaa Wardi, Doaa El Sebaii, Alisha Pais, Wonho Chung and Hamdan El Bloshi. Shopping mall guests will also be treated to live entertainment.

The Share app is available from Google Play and the Apple app store.
