UAE reports 176 Covid-19 cases, 258 recoveries

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 176 Covid-19 cases on October 5, raising the total number of recorded cases to 737,073.

The new infections were detected, after 364,265 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 258 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries to 730,093.

With one additional death due to Covid complications, the death toll has increased to 2,104.
