Mr Al Buraik is a Senior Consultant in Healthcare Administration and Financing. with over 25 years experience.
Directed the national study for healthcare financing and implementation of insurance for Saudi Arabia in 2013.
Established the Self-Financing Fund Development in King Fahad Medical City – the largest medical city in Saudi Arabia and developed the first Healthcare PPP contract to build a proton therapy center.
Prior to assuming the responsibility for the fund, I held the position of Director of Planning and Development in the same institution.
Before joining KFMC I held several senior executive functions in private hospitals and healthcare insurance.
In addition my expertise includes, health financing, marketing, quality management, services planning and investment, Strategic Planning, Change Management, ISO 9000, Quality Management, Accreditation, Health Informatics, Business Development. Healthcare Investment, Public Private Partnership PPP, Business Process Management.
Bengt Ternstrom is the CEO at Rashid Centre for Diabetes and Research, Ajman with the responsibility of leading RCDR as a whole.
Prior to joining RCDR, Bengt has worked with Getinge Infection Control AB, Sweden as a Director of Academy for the past fourteen years. He holds a Master Degree in Science, Bachelor Degrees in Psychology as well as in Sociology and Learning Skills from University of Stockholm, Sweden.
Dr. Raoof has been working with American Hospital Dubai since January 2, 1999. He has contributed immensely to this organization in both, clinical and administrative roles.
His clinical expertise is well recognized in this organization. During the last year and a half, as the Assistant Medical Director, he has demonstrated enthusiasm and capability to take up the role as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Raoof has over 20 years experience in clinical anesthesia, intensive care and medical research in the UK. Particular interests include acute and chronic pain management, obstetric anesthesia & intensive care medicine.
Maryanne trained and obtained qualifications in Nuclear Medicine Technology and a Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (DMU) at Westmead Hospital in Sydney Australia. After joining Toshiba Medical Systems Maryanne went on to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from the University of Western Sydney and Masters of Management (MMgmt) from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
During her time with Toshiba Australia Maryanne worked across various business areas, including clinical training, education, and sales and marketing. This included experience in setting direction for the business in each of the MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound and CT business units. More recently, she has developed vast experience in National Sales, National Marketing, and Corporate Sales management roles.
Maryanne has also worked closely with key clinical partners in establishing clinical research & development relationships and opportunities for collaboration between global institutions, and with Toshiba Medical Systems’ own Clinical Medical Research Department (CMRD).
During her time with Toshiba Australia, Maryanne held positions on the board of the Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine and acted in an advisory capacity on industry issues to the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists.
In her present role with Toshiba Healthcare in Japan since July 1st 2014, Maryanne is assigned to develop and execute strategies for the Healthcare Business areas of Toshiba, including prevention, diagnosis and treatment, health promotion and prognosis and nursing care. She will also continue to work closely with the Marketing and Global BU groups of Toshiba Medical Systems Corp, Toshiba America Medical Systems and Toshiba Medical Systems Europe, B.V.
Dr. Almuhannah graduated from King Saud Medical School in 1985, then obtained a fellowship in Ophthalmology from King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital – Riyadh, Dr. Almuhannah practiced medicine as a Consultant Ophthalmologist before joining King Faisal Specialist hospital in 1996. In 1998, he completed his fellowship in Medical Informatics from Harvard – MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology in USA, then returned to KFSHRC as Consultant Informatics. He is responsible for the processes of selection and implementation of Clinical Information System (CIS), at KFSHRC and worked as Director of Medical and Clinical Informatics Unit from 2003 -2008.
