TIER’s initial fleet of e-scooters are located at various locations around Dubai including Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) and Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown, with other planned locations in the future. TIER’s scooters use swappable batteries that can be swapped on-site, negating the need to transport scooters to warehouses every day for charging. The e-scooters can be accessed via the TIER mobile app. Riders have the option to use ‘pay-as-you-go’ offered at a rate of Dhs1 per minute of usage, or opt for a subscription model. Payments can be made through PayPal or debit and credit cards.
