The new protocol includes setting an attendee limit of up to 60 people for weddings and funerals held at home, in addition to 10 extra individuals as service staff
Attendance at all the events is limited to people who are fully vaccinated, and who can present the green pass status on the Alhosn app
The new exemptions follow an earlier set of measures that were approved last year
Shopping malls are allowed to operate at 60 per cent capacity
Restrictions are effective February 4, 10pm onwards
Event halls can accommodate a maximum of 200 people while the duration cannot exceed four hours
The suspension will be in place until the end of May and could be extended further
