Motorists driving below 120km/h on the first two lanes of the four-lane highway will be fined Dhs400
The issuance of the violations and fines list supports the UAE’s efforts in combating money laundering crimes and financing of terrorism
Restrictions are effective February 4, 10pm onwards
The decision applies to uncollected customs fines imposed by a judicial judgment as well as those that have been paid in installments to Dubai Customs
The country also announced two deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total death toll to 510
The updated roster has over 70 violations with fines ranging from Dhs2,000 through to Dhs10m
Penalties will be doubled for those repeating the violation while third time offenders could face imprisonment for up to six months and an increased fine of Dhs100,000
All related fines for visa violators will be waived if they leave before August 18
The total death toll in the country has risen to 274
The initiative, which was in place from April 1-30, permitted residency violators to leave the country without paying any fines
