Abu Dhabi Investment Office to offer financial and non-financial incentives to Bespin Global

South Korean-based cloud technology consulting and management company Bespin Global will set up its regional headquarters and two innovation centres at Abu Dhabi’s Hub71. The two innovation centres are a Cloud Operations Centre and a Technology Hub for its cloud experts

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) will facilitate Bespin Global’s expansion to the capital through financial and non-financial incentives, part of ADIO’s Dhs2bn ($545m) Innovation Programme, an initiative of the emirate’s Ghandan 21 accelerator programme.

As part of the agreement with ADIO, Bespin Global will collaborate with local universities to nurture talent, with plans to hire 5-10 Emirati interns each year, in addition to hosting hackathon programmes. ADIO, along with Hub71, will also help connect Bespin Global to Abu Dhabi’s technology ecosystem.

It provides end-to-end cloud services, cloud strategy, migration, implementation, DevOps and Big Data and has been listed on Gartner’s Quadrant Magic for Public Cloud infrastructure for four years in a row.

“We are excited to welcome Bespin Global into our fast-growing community as their regional presence will complement the bright founders who are accelerating Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation,” said Hanan Harhara Al Yafei, CEO of Hub71. “Technology companies like Bespin Global enhance our ecosystem and add to the seamless, mutually-beneficial exchange of mentorship, expertise and talent that facilitates the disruptive technologies shaping our future economy.”

ADIO’s Innovation Programme provides incentives to businesses within high-growth areas including ICT, financial services, tourism, AgTech and health services and biopharma, among others. ADIO recently announced that leading music streaming platform Anghami will be establishing its headquarters in Abu Dhabi as part of the Innovation Programme.
