Saudi low-cost carrier flynas has announced that it will operate special flights between Riyadh and Dubai.

Special trips between the cities of the two largest Arab nations will be undertaken between September 17-28, the carrier said in a tweet.

These trips are subject to terms and conditions, it added.

This follows Saudi Arabia’s much awaited announcement, that it will partially lift travel restrictions and permit international flights to operate to and from the kingdom starting 6am on Tuesday, September 15.

Furthermore, all travel restrictions associated with the Covid-19 pandemic will be eased off beginning January 1, 2021.

Saudi Arabia suspended international flights from March 15 and restricted entry at its borders as it sought to tame the virus.

As of September 13, the kingdom has confirmed 325,651 cases of the virus, including 4,268 fatalities associated with it.
