The team stressed that no violations will be tolerated and violators will be slapped hefty fines. Ajman has been tightening measures in the last few weeks. It instructed all restaurants and cafes in the emirate to close daily by 11pm, starting February 23. On February 10, it was announced that in-classroom learning across all schools and nurseries in Ajman had been suspended indefinitely. The decision was made “in response to the strategic requirements pursued by the UAE to ensure the health and safety of UAE citizens and residents in general, and our students, and the school community in particular”, a statement said.
