COYA has been one of the top stops in Dubai’s Latin American food scene in recent years, featuring a modern take on Peruvian cuisine with Japanese, Chinese and Spanish influences.
In the evening the Four Seasons Resort location certainly comes into its own but there are also plenty of reasons to visit during the daytime when you can catch a better look at the vibrant bespoke décor during a meeting with clients or lunch with a colleague.
The set lunch menu features plenty of options to please even the most discerning of pallets, with two starters and one main included in the price – along with a healthy dose of edamame or guacamole prepared in front of you as an opening bite.
We tried the Dorada Clasica, which was full of flavour combining sea bream with red onion, white corn and sweet potato. The Baos con Res Wagyu also impress combining succulent South American seasoning with Chinese influences for a mouthful that’s sure to stay with you. While, the Anticuho de Satas are also recommended for a vegetarian dish that does not skip on the flavour or texture.
Moving on to the mains, the Arroz Nikkei is a delightful combination of Chilean sea bass with rice, lime and chilli that is sure to tantalise the taste buds. Alternatively the Vegetariana with peas, beans, confit tomato and goats cheese should keep the more green-minded diner happy.
Combine your meal with one of the many Peruvian themed beverages on offer and you might want to stop for a siesta on the way back to the office.
