InsuranceMarket.ae, the UAE’s largest insurance platform, has been serving the country’s population since 1995. Located on the Red Line, the newly renamed station is strategically positioned on Sheikh Zayed Road, between Mall of The Emirates and Dubai Internet City Metro Stations — an area of high commuter traffic and visibility. Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Kalbat, CEO of the Rail Agency at RTA, emphasised the importance of this collaboration, stating that such partnerships with the private sector play a vital role in driving Dubai’s economic growth. “Dubai provides an excellent platform for major companies and entrepreneurs to showcase and promote their brands,” said Kalbat. “Dubai Metro stations offer a unique advertising opportunity, allowing companies to reach diverse audiences while contributing to the city’s global competitiveness.” Kalbat also noted that the partnership with InsuranceMarket.ae serves as a model for future public-private ventures, creating job opportunities and enhancing the private sector’s involvement in supporting government initiatives. Metro milestone agreement Avinash Babur, founder and CEO of InsuranceMarket.ae, expressed his excitement over securing the naming rights, calling it a “significant milestone” in the company’s journey. He likened the metro’s role in connecting people across the city to InsuranceMarket.ae’s mission of connecting customers with the right insurance solutions, thereby ensuring safety and convenience for residents and visitors alike. RTA will begin implementing the new name on both external and internal signage, including directional signs, smart systems, public transport apps, and onboard audio announcements. During the transition period, metro riders are advised to note the name change and RTA staff will be available at stations to assist with any inquiries. This strategic partnership underscores Dubai’s commitment to fostering dynamic public-private collaborations that not only promote economic development but also enhance the city’s global standing as a hub for innovation and business expansion.
