GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 679 cases; 576 infections confirmed in Oman

UAE
The UAE has confirmed 679 new cases of the novel coronavirus, 813 associated recoveries and one death on September 21.

The new cases were detected as a result of 72,388 Covid-19 tests conducted by UAE health authorities.

The infection count has risen to 85,595, including 75,086 recoveries and 405 deaths.

Bahrain
Out of 9,273 Covid-19 tests carried out on September 20, 540 new cases have been detected. As many as 651 recoveries were also reported, increasing total recoveries to 57,950.

Oman
The ministry has confirmed 576 new Covid-19 cases and seven deaths on September 21, Times of Oman reported.

The sultanate has recorded a total of 94,051 cases since the onset of the virus.

Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed 228 new cases, 237 recoveries and 1 death in the last 24 hours.
