GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 532 cases; 1,262 infections recorded in Oman

The death toll in the UAE has risen to 326

UAE
The Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 532 new infections on July 7, diagnosed as a result of more than 44,000 tests conducted across the country.

Since the virus outbreak, a total of 52,600 cases have been recorded in the country.

Meanwhile, 993 new recoveries were confirmed, bringing the tally of recuperated patients to 41,714.

Two additional deaths were also reported, scaling the death toll to 326.

Oman
Oman reported 1,262 new Covid-19 infections, raising the tally of cases to 48,997. Of the newly diagnosed cases, 968 were Omanis.

It also confirmed six additional deaths, causing the death toll to increase to 224.

Kuwait
The Ministry of Health has registered 601 new cases and four deaths on July 7, Kuwait News Agency reported.

The infection count has risen to 51,245 while the death toll stands at 377.

Bahrain
Out of 9,945 Covid-19 tests carried out on July 6, 454 new cases have been detected, Bahrain’s Ministry of Health tweeted.
