GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 262 cases; 263 infections registered in Oman

The death toll in the UAE has risen to 358

UAE
The Ministry of Health and Prevention has confirmed 262 new Covid-19 cases registered across the country on August 11.

The new cases were detected as a result of 64,110 additional Covid-19 tests, conducted to screen for the virus,

The new cases identified are undergoing treatment.

Since the virus outbreak late last year, the UAE has registered a total of 62,966 infections thus far. Of the infected patients, a total of 56,961 have now recovered.

With one additional Covid-19-related demise, the death toll has now reached 358.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 263 new coronavirus cases in Oman, Times of Oman reported.

The total cases in the country has now touched 82,050, of which 76,720 have now recovered.

Bahrain
Out of 10,052 tests carried out on August 10, 386 new cases were detected.

Bahrain also recorded 242 recoveries, increasing the total recoveries to 41,209.
