Four Etihad Executives To Join Jet Board – Reports

Top-table move would take partnership to a new level

Four Etihad Airways executives are being lined up to take key positions on Jet Airways’ board by the end of the year, according to a report in The Times of India.

Willy Boulter (VP, commercial strategy and planning), Renyl Rauf (senior manager, mergers and acquisitions), Rangesh Embar (VP, finance) and Rajeev Nambiar (head of sales) are the quartet named.

The report states Boulter is earmarked as a successor to Sudheer Raghavan as Jet’s Chief Commercial Officer. Etihad declined to comment.

The Indian government changed regulations last September allowing foreign airlines to buy stakes in India’s airlines. Etihad is awaiting regulatory approval to acquire a 24 per cent stake in Jet.
