Fly to Nigeria with Emirates: 13 new routes to be explored

Passengers flying from Dubai to Lagos will seamlessly be able to take onward connections

Emirates has signed an interline agreement with Air Peace for passengers traveling to and from Nigeria.

The airline will now offer passengers connectivity to 13 new cities, along with the option to travel on a single ticket and a simplified baggage transfer process.

According to a report by the Emirates Airline Media Centre, passengers flying from Dubai to Lagos will seamlessly be able to take onward connections to Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri.

“Emirates is a steadfast partner of Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation sectors. This partnership with Air Peace is the next step in this journey, enhancing our connectivity and offering more travel options for corporate, leisure, and those visiting friends and family to and from Nigeria. We look forward to deepening our strategic partnership with Air Peace in the future to enhance the benefits for our mutual customers,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Corporate passengers alert: Benefits of the interline agreement

The agreement will be particularly beneficial to corporate travelers by providing access to major cities, including Abuja, Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, and Warri. This development will help foster and support the trade relationship between Nigeria and the UAE.

“By improving ease of travel, we are boosting business, tourism, and trade opportunities, further strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE. This partnership also enhances Nigeria’s aviation sector by improving connectivity and efficiency, positioning our country as a critical hub for regional and global travel,” said Oluwatoyin Olajide, Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace.

Emirates also resumed flights to Beirut and Baghdad on February 1, 2025.
