According to RTA, the works have been strategically scheduled during the summer holiday period to take advantage of lower traffic volumes

The corridor extends from its intersection with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, passing through Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street

The project, which forms part of a comprehensive national plan, will expand the current three-lane road to five lanes in each direction

The project reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to building smart and sustainable infrastructure that supports economic growth objectives

The RTA has also upgraded the traffic light system at the intersection of Al Doha and Halab Streets
