Randa Sadik

As the chief executive of one of the Middle East’s most established financial institutions, headquartered in Amman, Jordan, Sadik was appointed CEO in February 2022. She became the first woman to hold the position in Arab Bank’s history, bringing nearly four decades of banking expertise and strategic leadership to the role.

Prior to joining Arab Bank in 2010 as deputy CEO, she spent 24 years at National Bank of Kuwait, where she held several senior leadership positions, including GM of the International Banking Group. She served as deputy CEO of Arab Bank for more than 10 years before assuming the CEO position.

Under her leadership, Arab Bank has continued to strengthen its position as a leading regional financial institution, advancing digital transformation, innovation, customer-focused banking solutions, and sustainable growth strategies. Also in May 2026, Arab Bank Group reported strong first-quarter results under Sadik’s leadership, with net income after tax reaching $275.8m, compared with $271m during the same period in 2025. In addition, the group’s assets grew by 9 per cent to $79bn, loans increased by 7 per cent to $41.9bn, and deposits rose by 8 per cent to $57.5bn, reflecting continued operational strength and financial stability. Sadik holds an MBA in finance from American University of Beirut and continues to lead Arab Bank’s growth as it expands its global banking ecosystem.
