As founder and CEO of Karma Developers, Mandhani has established one of the UAE’s most ambitious real estate platforms, with operations spanning the UAE, the UK, Cyprus, Romania and Australia. Since founding the company in 2013, he has overseen the delivery of more than 2,000 homes, while a further 2,000 units remain under development. Under his leadership, Karma Developers has become known for combining affordability, design quality and sustainability, while building a multi-billion-dirham development pipeline across key international markets. Mandhani’s entrepreneurial journey extends well beyond property. Through Sophonos Investments, his private investment office, he backs emerging companies across artificial intelligence, deep technology, proptech and Edtech. The firm manages a portfolio of more than 26 companies across Europe, Southeast Asia and the US, with assets under management exceeding $500m and several successful exits to date.

His business interests also include commodities trading through Future Resources, a UAE-based company focused on building reliable industrial supply chains across Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. The venture reflects Mandhani’s broader approach to business — identifying structural opportunities and creating platforms capable of long-term growth.

Educated as an engineer with a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the US, Mandhani spent nearly a decade working on large-scale projects within a Fortune 500 technology environment before transitioning into entrepreneurship and investing. Reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and leadership excellence, he is scheduled to attend Harvard Business School’s renowned Owner/President Management (OPM) Program, designed for accomplished business leaders and entrepreneurs. Mandhani’s achievements have earned widespread recognition, including awards for entrepreneurship, innovation and real estate leadership, alongside appearances in various publications, including Gulf Business.
