Mohamed Attal
Filmmaker, actor and content creator
13 October, 2026
At just 22, Mohamed Attal is redefining what it means to be a digital storyteller in the Arab world. The Syrian filmmaker, actor and content creator has built a reputation for producing cinematic short-form content that blurs the boundaries between traditional filmmaking and social media, demonstrating that compelling storytelling can thrive on platforms measured in seconds rather than hours.
Attal’s journey began less than two years ago, but his output has been prolific. He has written, directed and produced more than 35 short films, collectively attracting over 50 million views across digital platforms. Rather than chasing viral trends, he has focused on emotionally driven narratives, using high production values and relatable themes to connect with audiences across the Arab world. His biggest breakthrough came with 5IN1, a collaborative short-film series bringing together nine Arab influencers in a project that he both wrote and directed. The series generated around 87 million views across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, highlighting the growing commercial potential of premium short-form entertainment. In an era where attention spans are shrinking, Attal has shown that audiences will still engage with carefully crafted stories when they are presented in formats native to digital platforms.
By late 2025, Attal had amassed approximately 858,000 followers on Instagram, nearly half a million followers on TikTok and close to 400,000 YouTube subscribers.
