Al Qubaisi sisters have emerged as two of the most visible Emirati women in international motorsport. The sisters have each set firsts for Emirati women in motorsport while using their growing profile to encourage more girls from the region to enter the sport. Daughters of accomplished endurance racer Khaled Al Qubaisi, Amna and Hamda progressed through karting and the traditionally male-dominated single-seater ranks before competing in F1 Academy, joining the Red Bull Academy Programme in 2024.
Amna made history at Yas Marina in 2019 when she became the first Emirati woman to win an FIA single-seater race. In 2026, she became the first female driver to compete in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. Hamda became the first woman to finish on the podium in the Italian F4 Championship in 2021 and, earlier in her career, the first Emirati invited to the
FIA-backed CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy.
She has also recorded multiple victories in the F4
UAE Championship. In 2025, the sisters moved into endurance racing together, sharing a Ligier JS P4 with Team Virage in the Ligier European Series and securing podium finishes during the season.
