“The Emirates business model really scaled up over the past 30 years, proving its strength and resilience many times over. Today, we have a network that reaches close to 140 cities to and from Dubai, operated by the world’s largest widebody fleet.
The next era of Emirates is now taking shape. We expect the first Boeing 777X to arrive in 2027, while our Airbus A350 fleet continues to grow.
To support this fleet growth, Al Maktoum International will be developed in phases over the coming years and will become Emirates’ home from the 2030s. Dubai’s D33 agenda gives us a clear backdrop on how we’re designing our network of the future. If this city intends to become one of the world’s top three destinations for tourism and business, our passenger and cargo network has to grow with it. That means deepening what we do across Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America, and expanding our existing footprint across Europe and the United States.
Dubai’s advantage has always been connectivity, and our job is to keep making it the most connected city in the world.”
