The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 923 Covid-19 cases on August 8.

The new cases were detected after 142,798 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 895 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 978,503.

Zero deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, keeping the death toll to 2,337.

The Covid-19 nationwide case count has risen to 999,637.
