The UAE has reported a total of 1,512 Covid-19 cases on May 24.

The new infections were detected, following 178,528 examinations conducted to screen for the virus.

The country’s health ministry also confirmed 1,481 recoveries in the past 24 hours, scaling the total number of recoveries to 537,531.

With three additional fatalities, the death toll has risen to 1,654.

The case count in the UAE stands at 557,619.
