The UAE has announced a three-day holiday for the public and private sectors to mark Commemoration Day and the country’s 49th National Day.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that all private sector establishments, institutions and entities will be off from Tuesday, December 1 until Thursday, December 3.

Earlier, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources confirmed that all government entities and ministries will remain closed from December 1 until December 3.

Work will resume on Sunday, December 6, marking a five-day work break in total.

According to a decree issued by the UAE Cabinet last year, all public and private sector employees will have the same number of public holidays.
