Markets has emerged as a fast-growing participant in the online foreign exchange and CFD brokerage industry, building an international client base and a technology-led offering in a market where scale is common and durability is rare.
The company operates through T.M. Financials Ltd, an investment dealer licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius. The brokerage offers trading in foreign exchange, commodities, indices and other financial markets through MetaTrader 5 and other leading platforms. Its offering has increasingly extended beyond conventional market access to include copy-trading tools that allow clients to automatically copy other traders’ positions in their own accounts. Growth has been a defining feature of the company’s early years. Its next phase is defined by something different: the institutional foundations required to sustain that growth across multiple jurisdictions.
That shift is reflected in the company’s leadership. Craig Lund was appointed CEO in September 2026, bringing more than 15 years of experience across financial services, regulated digital assets, operations and governance, with senior roles at a global investment bank and at a series of regulated exchange and brokerage businesses. Over that period he has helped bring five regulated brokers and exchanges through licensing and into live operation across several jurisdictions, led teams numbering in the hundreds, and worked within organisations responsible for several billion dollars in trading volume.
Lund’s mandate centres on maturing the firm’s regulatory framework and corporate governance. The programme under way includes the strengthening of internal controls and compliance functions, the introduction of independent risk and compliance oversight with clear accountability to the firm’s stakeholders, the establishment of an internal audit and control-testing programme, and the engagement of external audit as a standing discipline. It extends to the controls that clients experience most directly: the handling of client money, the speed and transparency of withdrawals, the responsiveness of support, and the standards that govern how the firm and its partners communicate with clients.
Alongside that, the company is taking a deliberate approach to international expansion, seeking to earn its place in each market it serves by meeting the requirements of that market’s regulator and holding itself to a consistent standard wherever it operates.
“A broker earns trust in the moments a client feels, and keeps it by being the kind of firm a regulator can walk into and find exactly what it expected to find,” Lund says. “The next chapter for Tag Markets is defined less by how fast it grows than by how well it runs.”
For Tag Markets, the next stage will involve building the operational infrastructure, governance and client-service systems required to support an expanding international footprint. The appointment of Lund signals a greater emphasis on those areas as the company moves beyond its initial growth phase.
