Home UAE Dubai Emirates re-opens first class lounge at Dubai International Airport The First Class Lounge is located in Concourse B at DXB by Gulf Business July 5, 2021 Emirates said on Monday that it had re-opened its first class lounge at Dubai International Airport’s (DXB’s) Concourse B. With comprehensive bio-safety protocols in place, customers at the lounge can avail of facilities such as a complimentary facial treatment at the Timeless Spa, complimentary services at Shoeshine by Mr Cobbler, four fine champagne vintages at the dedicated Moët & Chandon bar, special offers at luxury wine and spirits retailer Le Clos, and limited-edition tea blends with Dilmah Tea. The re-opened Emirates lounge also features spacious seating in the dining, rest, and social areas. In addition to a selection of fine wines, spirits, and cocktails, Emirates first class customers can enjoy an entirely new menu with over 55 dishes. The menu offers a selection of vegan, gluten-free and other healthy options, as well as culinary highlights such as: char-grilled wagyu burger, 72-hour braised beef short ribs, foie gras terrine, Black Angus tenderloin, and a traditional Emirati breakfast too. Factoring in that customers are flying in from different time zones, the First Class Lounge also offers all-day breakfast and lunch options. The re-opening of Emirates’ first class lounge in Concourse B is the latest in a phased programme where the airline has steadily restarted its exclusive ground services for premium customers over the past year. This includes complimentary Chauffeur Drive in 70 cities, and Emirates Lounge operations in Dubai, Cairo, New York JFK, Manchester, Boston, Milan, and Los Angeles. The carrier added that in addition to its First Class Lounge, it will continue to operate its business class lounge in Concourse B which was opened since July 2020 for first and business class travellers, as well as eligible Skywards members. In October last year, Emirates resumed its A380 onboard lounge and shower spa services with additional health and safety measures in place. First Class customers can avail of onboard shower facilities, with spa products provided in individual amenity bags to each customer.
