The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has announced special timings for malls in the emirate for Eid Al Adha.

Khalid Al Mubarak of ADDED said the initiative will enable families to enjoy games, entertainment, cinemas and restaurants.

The Eid Al Adha Season initiative has been launched at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, Dalma Mall, Deerfields Mall, Yas Mall, Al Mushrif Mall, Al Khalidiyah Mall, Galleria Mall, Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall, Marina Mall, Makani Mall Al Shamkha and Al Ain Mall, he further added.

Yas Mall has extended its timings from June 23 to July 1.  It has also announced an exciting line-up of events leading into the Eid Al Adha long weekend. Shoppers will be given the opportunity to win daily prizes from 22 June to 1 July 2023 as part of this season’s Spend and Win campaign which includes the grand prize of an Audi E-Tron GT 2023.

The shopping festival will announce 10 winners every day with a range of prizes up for grabs – from Apple products to Aldar gift cards. Winners will be selected at the end of each day, with one lucky shopper taking home the grand prize of a brand-new Audi E-tron GT 2023 on the final day. Visitors need to spend a minimum of Dhs300 to participate and enter the draw by scanning the QR codes placed across the mall.

Yas Mall has also organised live entertainment throughout the week and will host activities at Town Square, including a kid’s arts and crafts, gahwa caricature, and henna art. Additionally, musicians, an Ayallah show and traditional Harbeyah dancers will put on a show three times a day.

As part of its tourism outreach, Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island signed up Hollywood actor Jason Momoa as its brand ambassador.

The mall’s major redevelopment project in 2022 introduced revamped and new innovative concepts that enhanced the retail experience and provided a diverse offering for tenants and visitors.

This is in line with Abu Dhabi’s strategic vision for its future, contributing to boosting the economy, and adapting to the evolving needs of customers and developing global retail trends.

Yas Mall became the first mall in the UAE capital to receive a certificate of Gold by the World Disability Union, which honours the entities that implement high standards and practices for People of Determination.
