Dubai’s Meraas offers contactless ‘Curbside Pickup’ service for customers

Participating retailers include Mitts and Trays, BLK Cab Coffee, Catch 22, Aprons & Hammers, Eggspectations, and Urban Seafood, among others

Meraas has launched a new contactless pick-up service to offer customers a convenient social distancing method to continue shopping.

Its latest ‘Curbside Pickup’ initiative will enable customers to order from their favourite stores and collect the items from designated pick-up locations across City Walk, La Mer and The Beach in a safe and convenient way.

The pick-up service has been made possible through a simple, contactless three-step process:

Order
Customers can place an order at the store of their choice via their website, a phone call, or the brand’s app. A store representative will contact the customer with their order, the time of order collection, and location.

Arrive
When customers arrive at the agreed location, they contact the store via their preferred contact method – phone call, WhatsApp, text message, etc. – with details of the make, colour and registration of their vehicle.

Receive
A store representative will bring the order to the customer’s car, for which the consumer will pay using any cashless technology method.

The contact details of all participating food and beverage, and retail outlets is available on City Walk, La Mer and The Beach’s websites, along with all pick-up points’ exact locations on Google Maps.

Some participating retailers in the initiative include Mitts and Trays, BLK Cab Coffee, Catch 22, Aprons & Hammers, Eggspectations, and Urban Seafood, etc.

In line with Meraas’ implementation of all government instructed measures to safeguard the health and well-being of their staff and customers across their destinations, the pick-up points will also be rigorously sanitised as part of the on-going disinfection and sanitisation cycle scheduled every two hours across all Meraas destinations.

Simultaneously, all necessary measures are being taken to ensure a safe dining, shopping and leisure experience for those who prefer to visit the destinations.

The company’s portfolio comprises over 80 million square feet of total developed land, more than 5,000 homes, over 1,400 retail units, and 14 landmark destinations, including Boxpark, Al Seef, Bluewaters, City Walk, Dubai Harbour, Jumeira Bay, La Mer, Last Exit, Pearl Jumeira, The Beach, and The Outlet Village.

The UAE has reported 726 new Covid-19 cases on May 30, raising the total number of infections to 33,896.
