Newest figures mark a slight increase on yesterday’s daily count, which equalled 3,939. The new cases were detected as a result of 168,781 tests conducted to screen for the virus. Meanwhile, eight additional deaths were also confirmed, spiking the fatality toll to 819. An additional 3,294 recoveries were also reported, raising the recovery count to 267,024.
