Covid-19 update: UAE reports 3,939 new cases, highest daily rise in infections yet

The UAE has posted a new record of Covid-19 cases, with 3,939 new infections recorded for Wednesday, January 27.

Today’s figures mark a sharp increase from the 3,601 infections recorded during the previous period.

There were a further six deaths, bringing the number of fatalities to 811.

There were 4,536 recovered cases in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 263,730. The total case count for the UAE stands at 289,086.
