Covid-19 update: UAE reports 2,526 cases, 17 deaths

The death toll in the UAE has risen to 1,238

The UAE reported a total of 2,526 Covid-19 cases on March 1, following 175,033 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The country’s health ministry also reported 1,107 recoveries in the preceding 24 hours.

The case count across the country has now risen to 394,050, which includes 382,332 recoveries.

A total of 17 deaths were also reported, scaling the number of fatalities to 1,238.

The country’s health ministry also confirmed that 7,956 doses of vaccine were administered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 6,028,417.
