The total number of cases recorded in the UAE has now reached 738,586. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that the new coronavirus cases were detected after it conducted 317,254 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours. According to the ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care. MoHAP also announced two deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 2,120. It also noted that an additional 153 individuals had fully recovered from the virus, with the total number of recoveries reaching 732,296. It also called on the public to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and social distancing measures to ensure the safety of all. The UAE has posted a strong recovery from the virus in recent months as vaccination rates have soared. The country has administered more than 20.6 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine as of Sunday, with up to 96.17 per cent of the population having received one dose and 86.15 per cent fully vaccinated.
