The new cases were detected after 368,242 additional Covid-19 tests were conducted over the past 24 hours. In a statement, MoHAP said the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care. The ministry also announced two deaths due to Covid complications, bringing the death toll in the country to 2,075. It also noted that 505 individuals had fully recovered from the virus, with the total number of recoveries reaching 724,446. The ministry said it plans to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. The UAE has seen a steady decline in the number of new Covid-19 cases in recent weeks. More than 91 per cent of the country’s population has received one dose of the vaccine with 80.99 per cent fully vaccinated, officials announced on Saturday. 82,549 doses of #COVID19 vaccine were given in the last 24 hours, to reach a total of 19,412,656 doses, with a distribution rate of 196.28 doses per 100 people.
