Aldar Properties launches world’s first Louvre-branded residences in Abu Dhabi

Located within Saadiyat Grove, Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will feature 400 apartments including five penthouses

Aldar Properties (Aldar) and Louvre Abu Dhabi have partnered to launch the world’s first Louvre branded residences in the capital of the UAE.

Located within Saadiyat Grove, Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will be handed over to residents in 2025.

Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will feature 400 apartments including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as five penthouses, according to news agency WAM. Every apartment will be finished with interior fittings and fixtures and built-in home appliances.

The development offers a lounge for residents – Le Salon Détente, a 12-seater Cinema Privé for private theatre experience, a wellness centre – Spa Bien-être – that features a gym and sauna rooms, multi-use spaces for yoga and meditation, and an indoor kids’ playroom – the Creativité Room. The development will include elevated swimming pools, sunset deck, and gardens.

The lobbies and shared spaces within Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will also feature art and sculptures selected in consultation with the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

With the launch of Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences, residents can avail of exclusive membership that provides access to Louvre Abu Dhabi’s exhibitions and events, branded merchandise, as well as personalised art consultation and services.

Saadiyat Grove, in which the Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences will be situated, is Aldar’s Dhs10bn landmark project on Saadiyat Island and spans an area of 242,000 sq m. The master development will include retail, entertainment, and leisure spaces. The mixed-use destination will feature approximately 3,000 residential units overall, as well as two hotels and co-working spaces for startups.

Aldar Development reported sales of Dhs1.1bn in the fourth quarter of last year, taking the year’s total sales to Dhs7.2bn. It reported revenues of Dhs8.58bn for 2021, up 2 per cent year-on-year, and a net profit of Dhs2.33bn, an increase of 21 per cent over the previous year.
