Abu Dhabi Airport Hit By More Fog, Reschedules Some Flights

Normal operations are expected to resume by later on Thursday afternoon, the spokesman said.

Abu Dhabi International Airport rescheduled some flights on Thursday because of severe fog, a spokesman for flag carrier Etihad Airways said, several days after passengers faced similar disruption due to bad weather.

Normal operations are expected to resume by later on Thursday afternoon, the spokesman added.

Etihad had only recently returned to a normal flight schedule after closures of the airport due to fog.

The airport shut for two hours on December 29, with 16 inbound flights to Abu Dhabi diverted to nearby airports; it also reported serious disruptions on January 3.
