The upcoming $1bn Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi has partnered with Dubai Holding as it leases out retail space ahead of its opening.

Dubai Holding Group represents several international fashion and lifestyle franchises in the region such as Zara, Zara Home, Flamant, Promod, Stradivarius, Women’s Secret, Gerard Darel, Sfera and Delvaux.

Located on Reem Island, the 2.9 million sqft mall will feature 450 stores including 85 food and beverage outlets and edutainment and entertainment facilities.

It will also house the world’s largest indoor snow-play park and a 125,000 sq ft indoor amusement space.

In August, UAE retail conglomerate Landmark Group also signed an agreement with Reem Mall to open 23 new stores.

Landmark will bring its own brands such as Centrepoint, Home Centre, Max, Iconic, Sports One and Shoexpress to the mall.

The group’s franchise brands such as New Look, Reiss, Adidas Kids, Ecco, Koton, Yours London, Lipsy, Steve Madden, Carpisa, Nose, Pablosky, Aerosoles, Kurt Geiger, Stride Rite, Puket, Blocco 31, Kazar and Loriblu will also open at Reem Mall.

In total, Landmark Group will occupy a total retail area close to 200,000 sqft.
