The UAE’s Millennium Hotels and Resorts has announced the openings of its fourth Omani property in Salalah.

The five-star Millennium Resort Salalah in Al Saada features 285 rooms spread across rooms and suites, serviced apartments, chalets and villas.

Facilities include a ballroom with capacity for 1,000 people, a lazy river, gardens, a playground, luxury spa, river and freshwater pools and a salon.

The property also has four restaurants. Sky Grill offers Omani cuisine with a rooftop view, Taybat is the all-day dining option, Bahriyat the seafood option and Zest Café offers coffee and lighter dining.

“We are delighted to launch our fourth property in Oman – an increasingly ‘hot’ travel destination for the MENA region,” said COO Kevork Deldelian.

“We look forward to welcoming guests to a resort offering international hospitality standards with a touch of that famous Omani hospitality. This is a key destination for the group and we are confident it will be a huge success.”

Millennium currently operates 35 hotels in the Middle East and Africa, with plans to open 11 properties this year and 40 others in the pipeline.

The company also opened a five-star hotel in Dubai’s Business Bay last week.
